School Guidance between Trumbull Schools & Trumbull Health District

As schools prepare to restart and re-open for the 2020-2021 school year during the COVID-19
Pandemic, using the guidance documents released by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) on June 20, 2020,
it is imperative to establish an effective line of communication with their local public health district to
appropriately deal with potential cases within the school setting. Therefore, this guidance is established to
clarify the expected lines of communication between school districts and the Trumbull County Combined
Health District (TCCHD).

Return-To-School Plan Fall 2020

Draft Return-To-School Plan Fall 2020

The goal of the Lordstown Local School District is to have our students on site on a daily basis
according to the guidelines established by state and local health agencies. The district has worked
diligently to develop a return-to-school plan designed to maintain the health, safety and well-being

of our students, staff and the community at large to the very best of our ability. Because circumstanc-
es are subject to change, please understand that this is a DRAFT. However, it is the plan we have in

place as of July 23, 2020.

Graduation Requirements for the Class of 2020 and Beyond

The State of Ohio has passed graduation requirements for the class of 2020 and beyond. Please review the information provided by the Ohio Department of Education that provides guidance about graduation requirements. The High School Principal and High School Counselor are available to answer questions and discuss concerns you may have about these requirements and how they may individually impact our students. They are also included in the High School Handbook and will be discussed in class meetings during the first week of school
